10th Annual UW Stroll Competition
November 5th, 2016
The Unstoppable Upsilon Gamma Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma and the Philthy Phi Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta come together to host the biggest stroll competition in the northwest!

The Woman of Distinction Scholarship
Deadline: January 20th, 2017
The Woman of Distinction Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded on a one-time basis to an
incoming minority freshman woman that demonstrates a strong connection to community service and
academic excellence, two key principles of Sigma Lambda Gamma. The award amount is $500 to be
used for tuition purposes and/or books. To qualify for the award, the applicant must be entering the
University of Washington as a freshman for autumn quarter of 2015. Each applicant will be evaluated
based on both their academic success and their established commitment to community service.
The award will be presented to the individual during the first week of Autumn Quarter 2016. Also, the
individual will be given a special recognition at our annual Stoll Comp Event during Spring
Quarter 2016. Applicants are highly encouraged to attend event.
